ATTENTION JUNIORS: Vermont Academy is hosting a Spring College Panel on Saturday, April 17th from 10:00-11:30. There will be a Dean of Admissions from each of the following institutions in attendance: Middlebury College, The University of Vermont, Colby-Sawyer College, St. Lawrence University and Bentley University. If you are interested, please come to guidance for more information!
Thanks to parents and students who have turned in the student course requests for next year. Your involvement in choosing classes helps SHS to build a master schedule to meet students' interests. In May students will receive a copy of their tentative schedule and have the opportunity to meet with their guidance counselor to make changes during Arena Day. Students, listen to daily announcements so you don't miss this opportunity.
Job Fair! Students (and graduates) who are 18 years old are invited to attend a job fair at RVTC for clerical and industrial jobs. If you would like to attend, come to the guidance office for more information on how to sign up.
2010-2011 River Valley Technical Center Applications : RVTC is still accepting applications but only while space is available. All sophomores will were given the opportunity to visit RVTC programs in February; if a student didn't get to visit, they should see their guidance counselor immediately to set one up.
